Learning the Technique
Ann Dragoni is a fully qualified member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT), she established the ‘Alexander Technique in Billericay’ practice in 2009.
“I will observe your movements and show you how to move, sit, lie down and stand with better balance and less strain. By gently guiding you, I will teach you to develop a better relationship between your head, neck and spine, enabling you to release muscle tension and stress.”
The Alexander Technique is taught one-to-one with each lesson lasting up to one hour. It takes around six to ten lessons to learn the basic concepts of the technique, but the real benefit comes from learning to apply these lessons to your daily activities.
